Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd began her journey to combat sports at teenager age. She was a kickboxer, boxer and wrestling prior to making her first amateur appearance at WCFC in front of Jaimee Nievera. Ladd kept building on her victory at Ultimate Reno Combat, where she fought three times in a row. She finished all of her opponents in the first round. After that, she returned to WCFC where she defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen first defeated Silvia Babyghian before going on to fight Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9, where she faced Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen to beat her an unanimous decision. This put a black mark on Ladd's records for amateur. Ladd took her fight in a fight with Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 mark. Aspen made her professional debut in 2015, and was signed by Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta fight Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011 and won via first-round TKO. Invicta defeated her at bantamweight and won via armbar submission during the second round. Aspen used her superior wrestling skills to take down McGill and then ended the fight with a third round TKO(elbows and punches). Aspen took on Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. The fight was with Hoy in an opponent with a catchweight (138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd didn't make weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy until she was defeated in the 2nd round via TKO. Invicta FC 21, she was victorious in her last fight for the promotion by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She dominated Lina and then pounded her on the ground for a second-round TKO victory. In her second fight, she overcame Tonya Evinger even more impressively. Ladd ended Evinger in the opening round. She also received her a night's performance bonus. Invicta FC's Sijara Eubanks was her opponent for an rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was her first major match. The two fights were an intense fight which Ladd beat by a unanimous decision. The two fighters each received the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie finished Ladd after 16 seconds and ended her streak to win. Following a brief break her return to the ring and finished Yana Kunizkaya during the UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. She fought Norma Dumont as a substitute for her fight last time with the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. The fight was unanimously decided against her.
